Kris Wong is a creative problem solver, working across advertising, branding, & product design. He currently works at YouTube as a senior motion designer, applying automation and genAI in video ad templates at the scale of Google.

This passion project was a school collaboration with a few friends in 2009. A lone designer, armed with an exacto blade cannon and a t-square sword battles the corporate commander C and his cold-hearted drone army.

We took our inspiration from ridiculous action films from the 80s and 90s, along with the visual language of art deco posters and Russian constructivist propaganda. It is still one of my favorite collaborations.
